I was looking for a medical alert bracelet that isn't too obvious in the sense that I don't want all the people I meet to see it first or start a conversation. However, the medical bracelet must be clearly visible to medical staff in an emergency. I'm not sure how effective this bracelet is if I can't speak for myself. The sign (staff of Asklepios - star of life) does not stand out, but stands out from the frame. The bracelet itself is a bit chunky; Sometimes when the bracelet goes a little over my wrist, my skin gets caught between one end of it and I get a little bruise. I also didn't have enough space to add my name, but this works well for those who don't have to write much. I was able to write about my medical condition, medications I take, three allergies (abbreviations), and an ICE phone number.
