It's built to last - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

My old stand was made of flimsy plastic and broke. It was pretty easy to put together. It does what it's designed to do, except for screen sag, as it doesn't seem like they put a wrench in the screw that needs to be tightened to keep the TV from sagging. He sagged. There is space for a third key, although it was NOT in the box. I tried to take a close-up of where there is room on the stand for that 3rd key! I was "annoyed" to say the least. It was a strong base. I didn't want to send it back. The next one I got might be flimsy like the old one I replaced. (I'm tired of raising my TV. It's either that or I tilt my head while watching TV and my neck tingles.) Here's what I did to fix mine. I don't recommend this to anyone. I don't watch much TV, so my TV shouldn't get very hot. And hopefully the foil will act as an antenna and heat shield. And if that doesn't happen and my house burns down, I'm going to sue the company for not including that damn little wrench that necessitated this adjustment! It said; I took the cardboard it was in, cut it out, shaped it and then wrapped it in ribbon and thick foil (sorry no photos of the ribbon or foil) and then wrapped it in pretty drawer paper and after I cut it the box had the height and thickness I needed to get the TV at the angle I wanted and the angle I wanted my TV to be at the angle. "Done!" I love it now! 5 stars for durability. 4 each for others and forces me to work extra. And you MUST pack that third key! You should be ashamed of yourself. It's still worth it.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Something's wrong
