Review on 📺 Stream and Share Wirelessly with IOGEAR GUWAVKIT2 - High-Definition Computer to TV Kit by Joseph Morris

I bought this product with the intention of streaming video into my living room without having a laptop next to the TV with the VGA cable dangling. After reading some reviews of wireless VGA adapters I settled on a more reputable brand with Win 7 support. Installing the software/driver on my PC and MAC went smoothly and I was up and running in about ten minutes. I tried both platforms to see if one worked better than the other. Unfortunately, both gave me the same results. This product is great if you want to use it for presentations, document work, web surfing or regular projector tasks in your work environment. But when it comes to video streaming or everyday home use, this product falls short. All the movies I played had some kind of lag on the TV. Some are larger than others, but in general the synchronization has always been off balance. I think the reason for this was posted in a previous review that related to the dedicated video memory used on the adapter (32MB). I've tried several combined settings on both computers to get it right, but nothing. One thing I do want to say is that the range works really well because I've been able to get the same results from 2ft, 50+ft and through the bedroom wall. Uninstalling on both computers was as easy as installing and now I'm looking for another solution to my problem again.
