Remains soft after washing

My dog loves these blankets. She's had one since I brought her home from a rescue. That one is still around (2 years old), but I've bought more since. She likes to play with it, or chew it. Always drags one or two from her toy bin and brings it to her bed, just to have it near her. It's strong enough to last her tug of wars, for a time. After quite a few washes, and tugs, it starts to rip. Even with it all ripped up, she still loves it.
