This is a great little easel that I use mainly for painting. I have many other drawing and standing easels but this one is perfect for kneeling use. I love to take it out in nature on hikes and campsites as it's not too big and fits well in a backpack. I had to cut a slightly larger hole in the drawer so I could put a few pages of drawing paper in it to lay flat and close the drawer. This is a very worthwhile purchase and I would recommend adding it to your collection of artist easels, crafts and even reading a book or tablet. I prefer a solid wood easel to a cut out easel. This keeps the paper flat and allows you to write anywhere on the board without tearing the paper. I also added a couple of Grifiti Band Joes silicone straps to hold my media or tablet on the easel so it doesn't fall off and get drained.
