The leg is not fixed.

View attached video for a broken leg latch and a working leg latch. The other two locks work as they should, but this one doesn't. The "spider" or center leg hub looks like a "pot" made of cast aluminum or magnesium alloy. This isn't a problem in itself, but the casting and painting process seems to have rounded off the locking teeth, causing the locking lever to rise above them instead of biting and snapping. can be a disaster when you have a tripod that seems to snap the first few times you use it, then suddenly fails and a camera falls that costs more than your first machine. I could say a few nice things about the finish. and functions beyond this problem. It still works as a monopod. However, since one of the three legs does not snap into place, this tripod is almost useless as a tripod.
