I have a flash induced migraine and have found that I am becoming more and more sensitive to bright light. I had previous glasses of these glasses for many years (not transitional, but room tint). I lost them somewhere a few weeks before the holiday. I ordered a new pair during the transition period and received them quickly - thanks to lab customer service for reassuring! - just in time for the holiday. The change worked great. I didn't feel tired inside or out and was glad to have them as a preventive measure. I usually wear them to movies or indoor sporting events where I know there will be lots of flashing and/or bright lights. I wear them on the street and in the car like regular sunglasses. If I lose this pair I'll buy another one!
