With port C becoming more and more popular on modern PCs, this is almost a must. In the office, I can make full use of the additional HDMI ports and free USB ports. At the customer's I use an additional Ethernet port, which keeps the network tasks clean. I rarely, if ever, use an SD card reader. As a side note, there are a few similar expansion modules on the market that appear to be geared towards a Mac or even the most minimal of PCs, for expanding ports that don't exist or for charging via a USB-C port on a device. From my experience as an engineer, I'm constantly running out of ports, and on an already heavily ported PC, I take full advantage of the luxury of port C to expand my options. Catek did a great job! it's just plug and play. Also, with this name and these devices, I don't have to worry about driver conflicts or support. In my case Windows 10 sees it and doesn't even ask. It takes years of experience and years of product development, which I'm happy to take as a bonus as my time is worth more than trying to get an unnamed brand to work on multiple platforms. It just gives me the assurance and comfort that everything is working with enduring precision and quality. The device is a comfortable weight, solid and looks good for what it is. I am very thankful for the dual HDMI, VGA and all USB ports.
