Although the real sheets on the roll are very "sticky" (and therefore very effective), the paper backing on the roll was inseparable from the underlying adhesive sheets (it literally couldn't be be removed from the underlying adhesive film without tearing ). "Traditional" branded lint rollers have a higher quality paper coating with a non-stick finish, which allows them to be used throughout the life of the product. This company could have invested a few cents more in better coverage.
