I have a honey oak closet and they match perfectly. They survived my initial installation. None broke when wearing sweaters, suits or even coats (bought two sets so I could keep a few in my closet). They're not as thick as the hangers in a good hotel, but they're solid and made of solid wood, much better than the plastic hangers I substitute for them. Do you need thicker hangers? They are thick enough for most.1. Do you pack your clothes too tight like me? If this is the case, thicker temples will not help you. If you have a gap between garments like you should, you can invest in thicker hangers with a little more flexibility. But they cost you more money.2. Got things with serious shoulder pads? If so, you need to hang them with a gap between them to keep them from wrinkling and use heavier hangers.
