These earrings are definitely not for small children. I received my 3 year old pair. At first I thought they were gold. They were definitely silver. Second, we literally had to stretch the holes in her ears to put them in. It wasn't fun, she was crying and I felt terrible. But she doesn't often wear earrings either. The last ones I put in fitted well, but they were so thick that the backs of her ears covered most of the "stick". Both backs came off even though they were screwed on. We ended up having to smear them with Neosporin, pull them back out of our ears and let them heal. I will definitely not be ordering another pair for my kids.
