If you're adding electrical components to your car or boat, you must have them. Large stores charge $5 or more for a few yards of wire of the same gauge but with thinner insulation. They come with high quality copper cables surrounded by a thick protective layer of insulation. The wire is ideal for quick crimping, screwing nuts or soldering. I've used this cable for the radio, amp, sound system, radio, fog lights and probably half a dozen other add ons in my car with no problem. With a multimeter they have almost no resistance over a 10 foot span so no energy is wasted on inferior copper.
