When I first bought this router in August I was very excited. And for the first few weeks everything seemed fine. Then one day I had a power outage and the router rebooted. Strangely, he lost his WiFi settings and did a factory reset. I figured it must be something to do with the power outage so I reconfigured it and off we went. Until the next time I had to restart the router because the internet didn't work and again all wifi configurations were lost. I quickly found that it loses configuration every time it restarts. I contacted Netgear as it is certified refurbished and they basically just said "sorry". Outside. I restarted the device and everything but Wi-Fi turned back on. So I factory reset the device and still nothing. WLAN is on in the settings, but still off. Basically, after only 4 months of constant problems, Wi-Fi just died completely. I have used many Netgear routers in the past and have NEVER encountered this problem before, but have researched online and this seems to be a common problem with this particular type of Netgear router. DO NOT BUY!
