As the name suggests, this is a big no. What a waste of hard earned money. Made in China and it shows. This melting occurred from the very first use. Yes, just like a disposable lighter, these things will catch fire and become useless over time. I used it for five hours straight, if that helps. So my guess is that someone who only uses it for a minute a day instead of seconds during that time could get more than one use. I had it in my van and it could have killed us all if I hadn't been there. So let's say if you use it to cool your RV and leave it unattended you may end up back in the smoldering ruins where the RV once stood. And come to think of it, I bought a few of these. lesson well learned. Buy quality. Another thing to note is that they have gone up in price if you can believe it! I paid about $16 which goes up to $25. Overpriced for free because it is a fire hazard.
