🔑 Replacement Key Fob Shell Case & Pad for Toyota 1999-2009 4runner / 2001-2008 Sequoia Review

Both key fobs were broken when I bought my 2003 Toyota 4runner. I knew replacements would be expensive. On the web from manufacturer to third party, it has ranged from $50 to over $100. I checked out Revain and tried them. I replaced the old seashells with these in just 10 seconds. It was so easy! They don't look like the old keychains, but they work and last just as well. saved me some money

Working. However, you must keep all parts of your previous remote control. For some reason the rubber gasket that came with the new remote didn't fit. After playing around with the parts from the previous key fob, I tried using an old rubber grommet. It worked wonders and I had no more problems. If I didn't save the old details, my remote would press "LOCK" every five seconds.

Great case. Comes with a rubber gasket to keep moisture out. There was an easy swap and now it looks great. Buttons and pleasant and"clicky". My original was so worn that it could be unlocked by looking at the buttons. You would lock your 4runner and walk to the front door and just touch the key fob with your finger and you would unlock the 4R. It was annoying. This new one prevents all that.

The mounting hole was worn out and I couldn't attach it to my keychain, but the key fob still worked great. I replaced my old 2003 Sequoia FOB case with this new one and it works great. Better than paying $35-$150 for a new FOB. Total time less than 5 minutes for exchange and testing. The body looks identical. Since I only replaced it today, let's see how it holds up over time. Apparently no problems are foreseeable.

Please note that this product may not be suitable for you if your remote control has just stopped working. In my case, the remote control cover was worn, but all buttons worked fine. I was looking for an $80-$100 bill to get something to put back on my keychain until I found this. Well made and very easy to change. If your key body has just worn out but the buttons still work, this is the best purchase you will make. Highly recommended.

Like many others, the loop on my remote was worn out so I was looking for a replacement. True OEM Toyota replacement prices are ridiculous. It looks very similar from behind; just not written enough. It looks identical from the front. You have to be careful when you pull out the inside of the old remote, but it's pretty easy. Control of the back of the console is not broadcast; You only use what is included. Sooooo much cheaper than OEM and hard to tell apart if you don't know what to look for.

Part of a 2001 Sequoia keychain broke off after 20 years of use. Bought this one and swapped the circuit board right into it. It slammed well with ease. I did NOT have to use my old rubber gasket like others do. Directional rubber seal with slit cutouts in the plastic housing.
