Bought many kitchen knives recently and enjoy the wonders of cooking with a sharp knife. This one isn't my favorite due to its weight, but my husband loves it. It claims to cut cherry tomatoes better than my other expensive knives. I'm taking off a star because the knife has a black coating that isn't needed and is chipping. It looks weird on a pen because the color just stops. I think the knife would have fitted better without that. Also, the wood could use some more polish, but it's not a $100 knife, so I guess that's a compromise.
