I bought this mixer/sound card on Prime Day to add some inputs to my recording/streaming setup (I only have a headphone jack combo and speaker jack on the back). It works well for this purpose, although I had to play around with it a bit before figuring out the following things: I wouldn't attempt to use a USB mic with this mixer. This will cause unwanted noise (I discovered this the hard way). It is best to use a traditional condenser microphone or a battery-powered microphone such as the Zoom H1. It also supports dynamic mics, but I don't have it. If you want to hear what you're recording or hear the built-in sounds, adjust the Monitor control. If you use V8 as a sound card in Windows, you can route sound through this device. This can be useful when recording, but can cause echoes when streaming. For live broadcasts I had to turn down the Muslim track control. The microphone control controls the volume of the sound coming from the microphone, and the echo control controls the strength of the reverberation. The Reverb/Delay button is pressed several times. I'm still figuring out how all the buttons work, but that's part of the fun for me. The gray and black keys appear to be pre-programmed bytes of sound, which were fun to play with friends.
