Update: 2 bulbs stopped working properly after a year. They began to flicker and then became very weak. Why did I increase my rating to 5 stars? I emailed the seller through Revain and they responded quickly and ended up sending me 2 new bulbs for free! They are slightly different from the ones I bought a year ago so they may have updated the design. In any case, I am very happy for the seller's positive feedback, and the other 10 bulbs are still working perfectly. One of them works 24/7 over the kitchen sink. My house was built in 1989 and has two different types of lightbulbs. One set has the "C" type clip that most can lamps now seem to have, and the other set has semi-circular perforated holes for the spring arms to fit. Both types were easy to install and held firmly to the ceiling. The recessed mount looks a lot nicer than the old cans.
