The panniers have heaps of storage space for everything, with lots of pockets, amazing for panniers with a large pocket. The attachment is very easy, the straps hold everything well. The straps wrap under the sides of the rack mounts, where mine has a Y shape that precisely secures the strap. I look forward to using it for more than just shopping. Note that it doesn't seem designed to use the pieces (top bag and side bags) separately without modification as the trunk clips just hang and bounce off my trunk on city streets. They're metal, which looks better than the plastics on others, but the strap at the bottom of the basket rather than the hook requires more effort to put on and take off. So it's not an ideal bag if you need to remove it frequently. Who would have thought that snapping on panniers would be such a problem. After my ortlibs gave up prematurely, I looked around for other options. The often copied Ortlieb clasp works very well. It wasn't until I saw other options that I appreciated its simplicity. Those other bags broke pretty quickly and the company pretty much ignored me and suggested they just use a special fabric to fix them. Either way, these bags are all black and have plenty of pockets and attachment options without being too childish. The clamps are of good quality and the connectors allow you to use different containers by pressing them firmly against the rack. Feels better than two large baskets separately. The medium sized bag is a good backpack on its own, with a top zip closure and bottom access. It seems perfect for a long bike ride and I hope to use its full potential soon!
