I made a spare wheelset with these road tires to replace with my mountain bike so I can ride to work without my knobby tires blowing out. I'm glad I bought them. They work great. It should be noted that I could not install them on my drives myself. The bead has steel wire which I struggled and struggled with during installation. I'm not a bike mechanic so there may be tricks and tips to make this easier. I don't know any tricks and gave up after an hour or two to no avail. I took my wheels and tires to a bike shop to have them fitted, it was the best $10 I've ever spent. Overall, I'm very happy with the new "road bike" setup for my mountain bike. I would buy these tires again...and take them to a bike shop to have them fitted right away.
