I've seen a few posts that said 1) the camera doesn't fit and 2) the adhesive might damage the walls. For the first note on camera landing, getting into the mount isn't easy. You have to push him harder than you think. But it fits 100% and works very well if you use enough force. As for the adhesive - I'm renting and don't want to risk damaging the walls, so I found an easy workaround to use velcro command strips (I think it's the ones in the picture frame, but they hold up to 16lbs). The command strips are easy to apply and work very well. The camera fits snugly and is securely attached to the base and wall. I totally recommend this product for the price. They could probably come up with a better fit that doesn't require forced tuning or the use of command strips, but I have no complaints. It works fine and I found a way to make it easily removable.
