For such a price I just didn't expect the quality, finish and beauty of these pillowcases, but I can tell you, they exceeded all my expectations! The velvet is sooooo soft and the material is heavy and thick (so if you cover the pillow with a colored cover it won't show through). The color is gorgeous, deep turquoise blue, the zipper is well hidden (and colored to match). The 18x18 size seemed a little small to me, but as you can see my 18x18 pillows fit perfectly, although they are also down pillows and can therefore wrinkle a lot. If you have thicker foam pads they may sit snugly, but they will likely fill them out very well too if you look for them. I would highly recommend this product and manufacturer and will likely purchase more in a different color and/or design!
