There's a small dial on top of one of the speakers that doubles as a power button and volume control, but it's neatly recessed, everything (including two tiny dots) is black, and there's NOTHING obvious to notice. That. I spent three frustrating days wondering why my system had no sound before finally investigating them in detail and finding the switch. A cool design can be nice, but overall the design of these speakers isn't particularly cool - and they mostly sit at the back of a desk, like mine - so why not set a simple and obvious volume level. include before or even below?
