5 stars because they smell so sweet! Also, the ankle strap seems to keep it from slipping off the foot. But!. the size chart is so far off the mark that I had to swap the small x for a big one. Basically you need to ignore the length in the graph and just focus on the width. Then add 1/2" to your dog's foot width and it should work. I say "should" work because I haven't gotten a large pair yet. I will post an updated review when I do. Here's hoping! You would be perfect if it worked. But honestly, if the large one is too big, I just order the medium ones because they seem really perfect for my needs. I want a shoe that protects him from the hot pavement but doesn't keep his foot warm and with a thin strap that can actually wrap around his ankle as opposed to boots that just wrap around his ankle. It's the contraction that I think will hold this one. Of course, I'm not going to pull them so tight that he's uncomfortable. I have to experiment with that.
