We are buying these shoes for my mother who needs to wear ankle and leg supports. The previous 928v2 was the only shoe she was able to wear for several years. kept her orthosis in the correct position and gave her good support while walking. She was very reluctant to even try them, but was finally forced to when we couldn't get that previous version of her size anymore. She loves these shoes! In particular, she reported feeling around the ankle that they supported her brace even better than the previous style. She claims the shoe also has a "crossbar" that helps her feel more stable while walking. The sock seems a little wider to her, which also gives her more comfort. After initially being so frustrated with the upgrade and the price difference (more than double), we're so glad they updated the design after hearing what the difference was. actually ensures their comfort and stability!
