I have purchased this particular shoe at least twice.

I have been buying this particular shoe at least twice a year for several years. I needed something to support my plantar fasciitis issues. These shoes have worked well for a long time. But I have noticed changes in the pair I bought prior to this purchase that are even more dramatic in this pair. The language has become shorter. It is very difficult to keep the laces tied on the tongue. The laces slide down. Not sure if it's another manufacturer or if the original manufacturer shaved a bit…

New Balance 928v3 vs. Brooks Addiction Walker

Looking for walking shoes for overpronation and orthotics. After a long search on the internet I ordered a Brooks Addiction Walker in 8 1/2 C/D and this New Balance 928v3 in 8 c/D. This shoe is great for me. I found Brooks shoes (as well as Asics shoes) to be smaller in size and width. Brooks 8 1/2 C/D fit me even though they have high arch support. I did not need such support along with 3/4 orthotics. Also, I thought Brooks looked more purposeful. Quite easy! I chose NB 928v3. (I still wear an

When New Balance created these shoes they only had me in mind :)

I was very happy when these shoes finally arrived and as soon as I put my feet in them I just knew they were keeper. I am very happy with them. My feet have always been flat, I was born with a half heel on my right foot and my left foot is normal so it was quite difficult for me to find the right shoes. I'm a focused hiker and I'm getting old and the problems have escalated from flat feet to plantation obesity to promising stirrups. LOL I know, I know. When I came across these New Balance…

Durable shoes for people with foot problems

I bought this shoe because I need to wear custom orthotics to fix my foot problem. These shoes are specifically designed to provide the extra space needed for orthotics. Considering my orthotics are over 1/2 inch thick, I was impressed by how comfortable and roomy they are. The only thing I don't care is that they are stiff and heavier than I would like. Yes, that's partly due to my insoles, but generally these shoes are designed to provide support and stability, and with that comes the…

Even better than 928v2 shoes!

We are buying these shoes for my mother who needs to wear ankle and leg supports. The previous 928v2 was the only shoe she was able to wear for several years. kept her orthosis in the correct position and gave her good support while walking. She was very reluctant to even try them, but was finally forced to when we couldn't get that previous version of her size anymore. She loves these shoes! In particular, she reported feeling around the ankle that they supported her brace even better than the

Quality keeps declining

I've had New Balance for almost 20 years. Over the years I've had to gradually buy more and more expensive models to get the same quality and durability, but I really like them - I have wide feet, but they fit well, are comfortable and last longer than regular ones. I have tried other brands. I recently bought a pair of gdefy shoes just to try something different and a little cheaper. These shoes never fit and wear out twice as fast as New Balance shoes. This time I went back to New Balance…

white/white has net sides; other colors have skin; update re comfort

When I chose the white and white shoes I didn't look at the pictures because they are all the same 928v3 so the only difference will be the color combination right? Not correct. The white/white arrived and I saw that the sides are mesh and not leather. Leather offers the best grip in my opinion, so I brought the mesh back in and replaced it with a combination of white and blue, i.e. leather. You would think mesh shoes would have a different model number. My only other criticism is that the toe…
