Need one for our new TV which has no audio input and output other than HDMI. I bought this reasonably priced product to connect my magic singing (karaoke mic) to our TV via HDMI and it worked as advertised. I just wanted the power cord to be long enough so that I could plug it into a common outlet instead of using the TV's USB socket, which I usually use for another device like the Roku. Overall I'm satisfied considering the price and performance.
