Review on C2G 40100 Trulink Amplifier Plenum by Cathy Wood

I needed to send a 1080 signal to a large LCD screen in my living room. I had an unused Cat 5 in the wall originally attached as a possible IR remote to control the AV receiver. I found, purchased and installed this product from Revain. I have separated the component signal from the single component output of the receiver. The component signal is then fed into the C5-HDP and the Cat 5 trace runs through the wall for a total path length of approximately 40 feet. Same connection on the other end with Cat 5 in C5-HDP with component in 65" LCD. I am very happy with the picture. My eyes can't tell any difference in quality compared to other 1080 signals fed to the same LCDs. This device can broadcast digital audio. I have not tested/used audio. I still use the AV receiver's surround sound system.
