Overall this is a great product that meets my needs as a pissing cat owner. She can use the box without urinating outside, which was a big problem with her previous two-piece bowl. I don't use a lid, mainly because she's an adult cat who has an aversion to space and can't get into a small opening, and also because I clean her several times a day and it's much easier to go without. you have to remove the cover. While it fits perfectly in my tiny space (see photo of the box in a narrow corner with an optional step stool to help my cat get in), I wish it was a little longer so my cats have more room to sit. and settle in. But this is the best box I've had in 47 years of keeping cats and I'm happy with the purchase and the price. Very fast delivery but bad packaging; The tape was loose and the product almost fell out of the box.
