They work great and are fun for kids. However, note that the device is designed to be used on a 3/4 inch board. I built my kid's playset using 5/4" boards. This meant the bolts weren't long enough to fit the nuts. M6 bolts with serrated T-nuts are included and very difficult to get in my area 2 stores Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, and Ace Nuts and Bolts; none had longer M6 bolts. I was able to get 1/4" bolts long enough, but that meant buying new t-nuts. Okay, but if you want a solid base, you'll have to pay for hardware replacements.
