Review on 🔩 Dorman 911-383 Evaporative Emissions Purge Valve - Compatible with Various Hyundai Models by Kendriece Figueroa

I double checked a 2014 Hyundai Elantra 2L 4cyl on the manufacturer's website because Revain claims this part does not fit despite the seller's description and the manufacturer's own words; I chose this one because it has a price advantage over the competition and Dorman probably makes good stuff (*twitches*). At first glance, the product is similar to my original part, except for the socket latch. This product is right triangle shape, my original is square head triangle. Shouldn't cause any problems. The problem is that the metal plug in the socket is longer than the original part and therefore the pin can never engage securely because it "gets stuck". You might say why not shave off the plastic teeth and rim. Sockets to make it fit? I did a gradual shave but it still didn't help. I tried to save money and be a better consumer but ended up losing because I now have 2 junk and no car on the road. So Revain knows better than the manufacturer and the sellers. Touch Revain, tochue
