I've been looking for a portable solar panel for my astrophotography and camping gear for years and AIMTOM's SolarPal is the perfect addition to my setup. First of all, it's one thing. Incredibly light and folds thin enough to fit in almost any nook or crevice in your closet, garage, trunk or anywhere else. I am also pleased to report that this panel comes with almost every known plug and adapter. Even if you don't have an AIMTOM battery, they will help you. (This bothered me prior to purchase as I already had another brand of battery, but I can say the SolarPal plugged in and charged the battery with no issues.) One of the coolest features of this panel is the onboard charging. Controller (a device that takes the panel's raw power and converts it to USB or 18V DC). Many other panels require a separate box with additional wires. AIMTOM has cleverly hidden its charge controller in an accessory pouch attached to the back of the panel. As someone who hates extra cables everywhere, I really appreciate this small step in cable management. One downside to the panel (which is more of a personal preference than a real downside) is the dark brown fabric backing. I would have preferred something more like a smooth plastic back, but I see the decision to use fabric to keep the weight down, keep the ultra-thin design, and keep the price affordable. amazing product. I look forward to using it at future star parties to charge during the day, on camping trips to keep all my electronics on, and on road trips as a comforting device against a dead battery.
