This little thing is worth every penny. I bought this as a light for my barn and it serves its purpose perfectly. I don't know how it will survive the winter and frost, we'll see. For this price you get a small micro USB solar panel so there's no reason why you can't use it to charge your phone or battery. And you also get a bulb bright enough to illuminate the inside of a 10x12 barn fountain. UPDATE: Here in the Northeast US most nights in January are well below freezing and this light is still working fine. I actually bought a second one to bring more light to my workbench in my shed. I am impressed with the solar panels - even in low light they still work and charge the light. I'm thinking about buying a few more in case the power goes out.
