Leg straps don't hold up

Bought this to ride with my son. On a women's bike, the saddle doesn't stay put (it slides back all the time), the quick-release fork doesn't stay put, the saddle doesn't stop spinning. I was able to use zip ties to secure the seat. The instructions are written in very small size, so it was very difficult to read. You should kick with your knees slightly apart so that the child does not constantly bump his buttocks with his knee. That said, the first few rides were fine and I was happy to be able to ride faster than when my son pedaled his own bike next to me. However, last week my son and I were there and he stood on the pegs to look at something. His foot slipped and the straps holding his legs to the pegs came loose and he got caught on the spokes. Luckily nothing was broken, but he had a serious sprain that ripped almost all the skin off his ankle. As long as you make sure your child doesn't get up, I think you're fine; However, be very careful.

Pros
  • Child seats and cargo trailers
Cons
  • Nothing
