They are NOT 2 liters, they barely hold 1.6 liters each.
These things don't hold 2 litres. I've had other drink chambers with very similar tops that easily fill up to 2 liters despite not being full. They held almost 1.6 liters without spilling out when filling. I'm not sure if they measure the "absolute maximum". The actual "useful space" is less than 2 liters. Other manufacturers can withstand this without any problems.
