DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! I would give zero stars here if I could. I bought this processor in May. Unfortunately, I had a forced move and work was interfering with assembling my computer. When I got to it. I found that the processor is not working. Went through ALL troubleshooting. definitely CPU. I tried to return it but found that the seller only allows returns up to 30 days. I was beyond that so I decided to try Intel's 3 year warranty first. Well after going through the whole process and sending them photos of the processor, they discovered that the processor had been modified and was no longer a valid product. Because of this, they cannot offer a replacement under warranty. I brought the situation to the seller's attention and they told me it hadn't been opened and they don't accept returns or replacements. Of course Revain can't help as this seller is a 3rd party. In other words, I lost $645 and still have to shell out more for a REAL CPU for the machine I need to use for work. I'm a video editor. So technically, I lost more than the money I paid for this worthless piece of crap. I am angry. Attached is a photo of an email direct from Intel to prove I'm not full of it. In other words, don't trust it and DO NOT BUY expensive third party parts. Lesson learned. Difficult way. I will now spend more money on a second processor.
