I paired this processor with an EVGA x299 Dark motherboard and ran OC Robot to overclock it to a much higher maximum clock speed. No crashes and the system is cool. I use a 240mm AIO water cooler to keep the temperature at an acceptable level. I use this system for various tasks including general gaming and video recording. Couldn't be happier for the value for money. The delivery took three days, that's the only thing I can fault (and I'm picky).

Good power saving, runs at 5 watts only during normal browsing. Fans almost never tune in. Super fast for audio/video rendering. 10-core, future-proof. Great processor for a workstation. Note that Device Manager reports 10 Core I9. But when you get to the driver itself, it uses the Xeon drivers. Here is your hint.
