These boots are beautiful and fit true to size. I was advised by an avid hiker to always go up half a size, so I went with a 9.5 instead of my usual size 9 shoe. The wide width proved ample room for my wide foot. The boots lace up and tighten quite easily. Other boots I’ve tried were so clunky in the tongue area, they were impossible to tighten enough. They look well made and the color is gorgeous and true to the online photo. They came with an extra pair of laces and a pair of boot socks. I liked them so much that I convinced my husband to order a pair of men’s boots from the same company. We both are very satisfied with our new hiking boots. We are still breaking them in for our weekly five-mile hikes, so no comment on durability just yet.
