Baked brown butter pecan cake in this skillet and 2 other Nordic Ware 6-cup cake pans. I then glazed them while the cake was still very warm using Nordic Ware's formula on the sleeve of another Nordic Pan I previously bought. I ONLY use Nordic Ware and don't invest in any company, it's just high quality pans that are pretty easy to clean. After baking, pour hot water with washing-up liquid into the pan and leave for 10 minutes. I pour out the soapy water but don't rinse the pan and see if there's any batter left on the inside of the pan. Then I take a regular hard toothbrush and scrub the areas where the batter is stuck while there is still some soapy water in the pan and the stuck batter is soft and easy to remove. Nordic Ware outshines Wilton. Pans of gold or graphite color are made in the same way without any difference in quality. Happy baking!
