I bought this weather radio a few days ago and it was delivered promptly within 3 days by Revain. You can also turn on NOAA at any time to check the current weather forecast. Where I live I get THREE NOAA stations up to 40 miles away. The NOAA group has an AFC function that blocks the signal even if you accidentally move the dial. It also has AM and FM radio, and while FM radio is good for music and talk, AM radio gets our strongest 24-hour non-stop news station here. in the Boston area, WBZ, which is good for securing information about storms.
