I used this wedge pillow on a 2 week trip and have inflated and deflated 6 times. I only partially inflated it for use (softer and less noisy) and deflated it carefully, lining up the original folds, to put in my storage bag. Proper folding takes longer than inflation, but that's probably necessary to minimize the stress of folding and transporting. My weight is only 64 kg; A heavier person may overload it, especially when inflated to the point of stiffness. The felt surface is comfortable, but I use it with a hotel towel over it; Skin oils can damage the plastic, and the towel absorbs sweat and allows the skin to "breathe". The plastic is softer and less brittle than I feared, but it is plastic. I expect it to age, become brittle and eventually break; All soft plastics do this. I'll probably buy another one in a year or two after a few more trips, but this one has helped me sleep, doesn't take up much room in my suitcase (crammed full of used linens), and costs a good $24.
