I was looking for a really powerful speaker system that I can take with me for gaming and also have a good speaker for performing at small events. This one is actually pretty strong for me. I might use this for my desktops as it doesn't take up too much desk space. However, if you want to take it with you, it is a bit big for some backpacks, so be careful. With these speakers you don't need an outlet as they can be battery operated or plugged into your laptop. Audio input via a single USB, auxiliary port or micro SD card. The micro SD card is great as you can store music and the like on it for playback without having to connect a large device to it. The downside is that you can't select music using this method. You should just shuffle the songs. This speaker is great when I need to give a presentation and need better sound quality than my laptop. Also great for my desktop as you don't need any cables and can stay connected to my laptop. I know a lot of people would like 5.1, but these speakers are great on their own. I can take this with me on the go if absolutely necessary and I don't need extra energy. They work great on trips to the park when you want to turn on the music and need a good set of speakers. The disadvantage of this is that unfortunately you cannot select which title should be played on a tab. The cable is actually replaceable, which is nice since AUX cables tend to wear out if they're constantly plugged in. It runs on Micro-USB to charge the device, which is a bit of a shame. It has LED indicators that aren't too dazzling or flashy. There are no other presets. Two speakers, one on each side. You can turn it on by simply turning the volume wheel on the front of the speakers. There is also a wheel at the top to control the sound. This is a simple scroll wheel to increase or decrease the volume. One thing is that it can actually be used through your phone. So you can answer calls and talk through them. You can also hang up with this speaker. The sound system is quite powerful. The speaker is behind a nice heavy duty mesh that covers the speakers so you don't have to worry about something squeezing or damaging the sound/speakers. It also means they won't get crushed or damaged when you put them in your pocket on the go. The controls are on the top of the speaker as well as the center wheel. Overall this is a great sound system. It's small and fits right under most monitors without interfering with your view. Due to its USB-only connector, you cannot connect devices with 3.5 jack to play music. It also has Bluetooth functionality that offers a good connection with no latency or static issues. You can't decide which track to play from the SD card, so I chose to just use Bluetooth, but it's nice that you can do without it and still be able to play music or sound. The cable that comes with it isn't bad, but obviously not the best quality. Apart from that, it delivers clear and powerful sound while being portable and quite lightweight. It is great for outdoor movies as well as everyday use.
