Review on LG Energy Rated Window Conditioner by Virgilio Feliciano

Without evaluation. I ordered this air conditioner ahead of the summer heat and was waiting to get my husband a Father's Day gift. It was wonderful the first night we used it in our bedroom. We slept so comfortably. The second night he made loud, grinding, horrible noises. I turned it off waited Switched it on and the crunch got even louder! Then it died. He worked a total of 9 hours before he died. The device stood in the workshop until September 22nd, waiting for spare parts. We were without air conditioning in our bedroom all summer. The device worked perfectly the first night after the repair. Every evening it got a little louder. This went on for 22 nights until he suddenly died again. This time LG agreed to give me a full refund "after" I bought another LG device and sent them proof of purchase. I can't find another 6000 BTU unit anywhere in the US! The 8000 BTU unit is too big for our room. Now I have to contact LG customer service again to try and get a full refund without buying another LG device. I'm stuck between an angry husband and LG. A nightmare.
