I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the player/AM FM radio. I thought that for the price I paid it would be of lower quality on all ends. It's not relevant. I gave it to my mother who is now in her 70's and wants to hear old records from 45 and 78. She also always complained that she wished she had a radio to listen to at night. Jenson Record Player/Radio hit the spot. I listened to the quality of the player when my mother played me some songs. It sounded great. Keep in mind that in some cases their records are 50 years old. Stereo sound wasn't what it is now back then. The radio quality is excellent. You can add additional speakers if you want the sound to come from a different area. However, if you want to use Won, you need to turn off the internal speakers. That's the only part of the player I don't like. The switches and buttons to change are small. For example change the speed of the player. The button is a bit awkward if you have fingers that don't go where you're looking. Otherwise I like it.
