A few weeks after I bought Survivor Filter Pro, an upgrade kit was announced along with a new "LE" kit that included both components. The upgrade kit was offered at a 50% discount when purchased with an older version of Survivor Filter Pro. I purchased the upgrade kit at full price and wrote to Survivor Filter to explain my situation. Mike (manager of Survivor Filter) emailed me and kindly agreed to give a 50% refund even though I didn't buy them at the same time. Wow, what a wonderful company! All of their products are premium, compact and lightweight. Ideal for hiking. I also appreciate their top notch customer service.
