I bought these for my pup to wear out in the snow and literally, the first time he had them on the seam around the textured pad came loose and created a pocket that just filled with snow. We have an astroturf backyard so it wasn't like he was playing in the snow and interacting with rough terrain to cause the seam tear. They are not made for a dog to run and play in; so if you have an older dog that exhibits little to no activity then I would say these are for you. But if you have a dog that actually wants to do anything in these others then I would say shop elsewhere for something made better.
