Review on πŸ“· Fujifilm FinePix S2950 14MP Digital Camera Fujinon 18x Wide Angle Optical Zoom Lens 3-Inch LCD by Lance Jenkins

Frustration with point-and-shoot digital cameras

Pretty good shots overall. .This is when you have nothing but ample light. There are some glitches in the firmware, e.g. B. Accidentally turning on the speaker in photo mode and generating white noise. The lens cap falls off for no reason. half a dozen times before actually taking the picture (which is why everyone in the pictures is blind and closing their eyes). Very bad stabilization. If you are not very stable, you will need a tripod. Aperture has only 2 settings. Focusing doesn't work without good lighting. Also, there's no manual focus option - you'll never get a good shot of anything on a transparent surface (like a spider web, window lettering, or the like, because it only focuses on the background). If you try to zoom in and out video mode, you will get into trouble. Used tons of batteries. as a robust construction (small manufacturing tolerances). It takes really good pictures in outdoor lighting. In general, if I were to buy a camera in the same price range and style, I would go for the Nikon L820; It's the same price, better zoom, higher resolution, more features, lighter, better video. If I had to rate the S2950 by cost, I'd say $90-$120 max. Fujifilm had no control over the quality of this film.
