Good size, not too big and not small. It is really light and not bulky to take with you when traveling. There are suction cups on the bottom to keep it from moving when placed on the floor (mine is on carpet). I love that I can always see my child with the web. Additional padding around the top is required in case a child tries to bite or hit it. The hinges are made of hard plastic and the metal posts are also of good quality. There is no padding on the bottom, just fabric, the bottom may be too hard for the child. It took a long time to assemble, it's quite easy to put together but it's time consuming, don't expect to just open it in a hurry. I am satisfied with this product
