Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked for my AT&T Cricket cordless phone in a trailer at a remote campground!

I have a 31 foot Airstream Silver Bullet trailer that is about 5 or 6 miles from the nearest freeway and cell towers. I'm surrounded by corn fields and dirt roads. Next to it I installed an all-metal carport that functions as a gazebo with picnic benches. I say that I am surrounded by metal, metal and more metal. For the past 5 years, especially with big trees and 5 or 6 miles of land including hills, I've had to block signals to the nearest tower, exit the trailer or carport and walk to the nearest street and pray I can get enough signal to make a phone call . I installed ANYCALL Signal Booster last weekend and I still can't believe the difference. Here's how I set it up: I attached a 15 foot mast to my TV antenna shed, I attached an ANYCALL directional antenna to that mast just below the TV antenna and pointed it north towards the freeway which has a tower at our exit , about 5 or 6km. I routed the cable in the trailer and in the main unit which contains the antenna and power cable. I plugged it in and waited about 5 minutes for all three lights on the amp to turn green. The signal showed 2 out of 5, but when I saw the LTE icon light up I felt really good. My wife and I downloaded our home cable app onto our Android phones and selected two separate TV channels, which streamed flawlessly at the same time. The phone calls are so clear, it's in the trailer again. I ended up moving the booster block to the center of the trailer next to the window, which now allows us to receive an LTE signal under the canopy. I'm so glad it worked because in an emergency we no longer have to worry about how or where to get the signal. I've only had it for a week but am very happy with the product. The only problem I had was accidentally disconnecting the screw connector that goes from the antenna cable to the amplifier box. It happened when I was trying to run a cable through a hole I had drilled in the trailer floor. I ordered a Type N connector, crimped it, screwed it into the amp block and it worked perfectly. This booster really works. While I'm not a newbie to electronics, I'm not an expert on cellular frequencies. I'm using this on Cricket Wireless which uses AT&T networks. I also used an app called 'Network Cell Info Lite' to find out what band my phone was on before ordering the unit. This block covers bands 2, 5, 12 and 17. This should include any smaller businesses using Verizon or AT&T signals, which pretty much all of them are. Would definitely buy again!
