I upgraded several computers (mine, family, friends) from an old hard drive to a new SSD using various free programs available on the internet. I've used a few because it seems that as the free ones become popular, they start interfering with features unless you pay. Found this, figured it was made by Corsair so it must be good and it comes with a better cable than the one I used from Fry. This software is incredibly easy to use. It's easy, just a few clicks and it does the trick. I upgraded my wife's computer from a 180GB SSD to a 1T SSD. He made the system reserved partition as small as possible (100MB I think?) and kept the C: drive like the rest of the SSD. I could always share it, but why bother. Anyway, I highly recommend this if you're thinking about cloning your old drive to a new one - it's so easy and simple.
